Introductory talk & introductory course

Everyone interested is warmly invited
to get to know Zen practice with us!

Zen introductory talk and Zen instruction

The introductory talk offers you a first orientation in the teaching of Zen and in how Zen practice unfolds. The first hour explains the theoretical foundations of the practice, the second hour the course of a regular Zazen evening. The forms we observe in the Zendo are also explained.
Participants who have attended this introduction are welcome to take part free of charge, for one month, in all meditation events at the Vienna Zen centre Bodhidharma Zendo.

The talk with Zen instruction takes place about five times a year, always on Thursdays from 7 to 9 pm.
Neither registration nor a contribution is required. A free donation is welcome.

After attending the introductory course, you may likewise take part in the Zendo’s practice offerings free of charge for one month.

Duration: one evening on a Thursday from 7 to 9 pm
Contribution: €15 per evening (reduced in case of financial hardship: €10)
Registration is required for this! Either by e-mail to: mail@bodhidharmazendo.net or directly after attending the introductory talk.
