Seikan at the Hyakujōgan Zendo

We use the November days at the Hyakujōgan Zendo to carry on work on the house and garden, to tidy up and to carry out minor repairs. Please join the free Seikan from 20 to 22/23 November – taking part for single days is also possible. How it runs: we meditate morning and evening, during the day we practise Samu (work meditation) and cook for ourselves. Enough free time for rest remains as well.

Start: Thu., 20 November, 1:00 pm

Accommodation: full board and a single room.

Costs: none. (Board and lodging are covered by your work)

Please note: A team from ORF will be filming at the Hyakuōgan Zendo and of those present during the Seikan. The footage is intended for a 25-minute film about our practice and Abbot Kigen Oshō. Anyone taking part in the Seikan agrees that they may become part of the recordings. Details can be discussed in person with the director on site.
